Merry Christmas!

As my Dad would say, "Two more Sleeps 'til Christmas!"

We always counted in "Sleeps". Sometimes it can be confusing when you use 'days'. Do you count the rest of today? Do you count the day OF Christmas? It was so much easier for me to understand how long I had to wait to open my presents when the time was explained in Sleeps.

I am so blessed to have an extra long Christmas Celebration! My side of the family is having our second annual Christmas Eve Eve Celebration today. With so many in our family (I'm expecting between 20 - 22 people in attendance this year), it can be difficult for everyone to be available on Christmas Eve. My 2 brothers and my sister are all married, so they have other family responsibilities on Christmas and Christmas Eve. Me? Well... I'm not married per se, but I might as well be LOL I'll have other responsibilities on Christmas and Christmas Eve as well.

So here's wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Blessed with a View!

I'm staying busy, busy, busy with LOTS of end-of-year projects, Design Line blogs and my own Christmas creating/decorating. I think I'll post some pictures of my Christmas decorations later.

For now I've got a new blog design to share.

This design gives you a glimpse into Gloria's craft room. When I showed her the first draft she asked, "Have you been to my house?"

Gloria has only been stamping for around 10 months, but you'd never know that she's such a 'newbie' by looking at her work! Just stunning! One of my favorite things about Gloria's work is that she creates little clay/Fimo characters to go with many of her cards. I'd LOVE to have her make a little Veronica that I can showcase in my studio!

Be sure to stop by Gloria's blog, Paper Blessings by gloria, to leave her some love (and check out those ADORABLE characters she creates, too)!

I hope to be able to share more soon!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Wow! We got PUMMELED with snow last night! Michigan Winters do not wait for December 21st - they come when they are good and ready.

Here's a quick snapshot of the view from my studio

Beautiful, isn't it? It's so nice to look at while I sit in my warm studio... but having to brave the roads and the 12°F temperature is a whole different story!

For now, I'll stay inside :o)

I just wanted to pop in to show you a new blog header and Etsy banner I did for Stacy at Stacy's Cards.

I've got some more completed projects that I CAN'T WAIT to show you, but I've got to keep them under wraps until I get the 'go-ahead'!

Hope you're staying warm!

New Me and New Designs!

Well... not a NEW me... just a healthy one! A little sneeze here, a little sniffle there - but that's expected with this weather change. Other than that... I'm back to health!

Of course, just because I was sick doesn't mean that 'production' had stopped. There has been a lot of progress going on. Would you like to see a bit?

Pink Cricut
I created a new banner for Sarah @ Pink Cricut. We re-vamped her character so she didn't have so many crazy arms and colors (see the before and after below).

Quite a difference, huh? Here's the full banner:
I also created three new blinkies for her:

Susie's paper crafting blog just wasn't suiting all of her needs. She wanted a blog to display not only her cards, but photos and insights on life as well and she described her style as "Talbots Classic". Her desired color palette included the rich colors of Autumn.

I'm really happy with how this design came out. It fits Susie's personality perfectly and meets all of her blogging needs! Be sure to check out the whole blog at Summerwalk Designs.

Karan was looking for something fun and fresh. She told me that she loves blues, greens and browns and birds in flight. She sent me a few samples of blogs that she loves and I took it from there.

I just love the fresh look of this design! You can see the entire design at Karan Gerber Designs.

Here are just a few of the advertisements and other graphics that I've created for Taylored Expressions recently:

And if you're lucky enough to receive a gift certificate to Taylored Expressions for the holidays, you'll have a piece of my work, too!

Thanks for stopping by to check up on what I've been busy doing. I hope to post more projects soon!
